DAF gift intents from the website form arrive by Formspree email. Enter them here so arriving sponsor checks can be reconciled against them.
Donor-declared intent to give, by any method (card, wallet, stock, crypto, DAF, check), captured from the Give Care app and the web. The money moves through Donorbox or Chariot; reconcile each intent against the gift when it lands.
Gifts pool into funds by the cause the donor chose. Available is what a fund has raised minus what is already committed to a named recipient. The Matching Engine draws on these pools when it funds someone, taking as many as it needs to cover their award in full.
Acknowledgments
Every gift creates a stewardship obligation: a thank-you to the donor, a tax receipt where we are the one who issues it, or a notice to someone a gift was made in honor of. Claire drafts each thank-you and tribute notice in her voice; tax receipts use a formal template. Open one to read the exact message and see the complete preview of what will be sent, then approve it. Nothing goes out until you do.
Everything the contributions side of an IRS Form 990 needs, on demand: Part VIII line 1 (contributions), the cash and noncash split, Schedule M (noncash by type), and Schedule B (contributors at or above $5,000). Generated from the gift ledger for the selected calendar year.
Outreach Cadence
Claire's proactive 12-month donor journey (Alyssa's timeline). The pass drafts each donor's due touch here for your review. Nothing is sent until you approve it.

New message
Every email the system records passes through here: password reset, welcome, and acknowledgment mail (sent live through SES, so a failed row is a real delivery failure to act on), plus Communications hub and Claire messages, which are recorded here but delivered through their own transport. Those hub and Claire rows stay queued in this ledger even after they send; their true delivery status lives on the message record in Communications. So queued here means either awaiting delivery or delivered elsewhere, never that a message failed.
Break-glass console (maintenance tunnel only). Day-to-day staff access is granted and revoked in the Operations Console; SSO sign-ins re-provision accounts from the staff pool. Add a teammate with a password, or leave the password blank to send them an invite link so they set their own.
Claire
Where care is waiting
Approved applicants still awaiting matching funds, by cause, joined with each cause's fund balance. This is what Claire is aware of when a donor asks where their gift would matter most. She speaks only qualitatively (she names a cause, never a count); the numbers here are for you. A gap means a directed gift funds someone who cannot be funded from that cause today.
Stated intentions
Wishes Claire heard and recorded for the philanthropy team to honor.
Recent conversations
Every donor and first-contact conversation Claire has held. Export a single transcript from its View dialog, or a filtered batch below.
Record a meeting
Log an in-person or virtual meeting. Type it, or paste notes from Granola or any AI note taker and Claire structures the attendees, summary, action items, and category for you to review.
New contact
Add a donor or collaborator you have met or are cultivating. The DGS issues the Inheris ID and de-duplicates by email then phone, so you never create a double.
Donor pipeline
Grant pipeline
Grants Dashboard
Active applications at a glance. Tab through each grant to verify status, deadlines, the primary contact, and correspondence.
Scan specification
The criteria Athena scans external funder databases against each day. She searches what is written here and never invents her own terms; she reads what comes back and stages the candidates worth your time. Anything she suggests arrives switched off until you turn it on.
Discovery queue
Candidates the last scan staged for review. Nothing here is part of Inheris yet. Add one as a funder to keep it, or dismiss it and it will not come back.
Funders
The institutions Inheris applies to. Athena reads each funder's focus and guidelines when she drafts.
New grant application
Athena
Grant performance
Real numbers from the grant pipeline: what is in flight, what has been awarded, and the dollars requested and secured.
Objectives (KPIs)
Talk with Athena
She reasons across both surfaces: the grants pipeline here and the engagement pipeline on the Donor Engagement stack. Open a grant in the Grants workspace first and she is grounded in that funder and its materials. Staff facing; never seen by funders or donors.
Stuart
State of the system
What Stuart sees right now. He reasons over this snapshot when you ask him a question.
Ask Stuart
Questions about donors, the DRM pipeline, grants, Care Awards, or what is due. He can open tasks for concrete follow-ups. Staff facing; never seen by donors.
Task queue
Open follow-ups across the team, soonest due first. Stuart opens these when you ask him to coordinate; you can add and close them here too.
Specification
Operator guidance, layered under Stuart's built-in rules. He can never use it to fabricate a figure or make a decision for the team. Everything you save here shapes how he works.
Reference material
Upload playbooks, definitions, or thresholds to shape how Stuart reads the system. PDF, Word (.docx), Markdown, PowerPoint, or Excel, up to 15 MB. Toggle any document in or out.
Official Inheris profiles
The follow links donors see on their Connect tab. Only slots with a URL saved here appear in the portal; leave a slot blank to hide it. Full URLs, starting https://.
Social share cards
Upload the branded cards donors post to their own feeds ("I just gave to Inheris, check them out"). Design them in Canva, then upload here. Each card can carry a per-donor overlay the donor's browser adds when they share: a first-name line, an impact line, or none (pure occasion art like a Veterans Day design). Set an optional date window for holiday or campaign cards. PNG or JPG, up to 10 MB. Recommended size 1080x1080 (feed) or 1080x1920 (story); leave the chosen overlay band clear if you use a name or impact overlay.
Learn library
The publications, articles, whitepapers, and webinars donors see on their Learn tab, with topic filters. Add Inheris publications and outside pieces worth a donor's time. The portal shows only entries that are turned on; with none, the library card simply hides. Em and en dashes in titles and summaries are normalized automatically.
Import from Substack
Preview the configured publication feed and add posts with one click. The feed URL is set with DS_SUBSTACK_FEED_URL in the environment; without it this reports not configured.
Library entries
Your platform, set up the way you work. Rename, reorder, add, or retire anything here; renaming carries onto every record, retiring keeps your history intact.
Connections
Where this console meets the outside world. Each row says plainly whether the connection is live and what to do about it when it is not.
Giving logistics
The stock DTC transfer details, where to mail a check, and your donor-advised-fund grant target. Claire and the Give Care app hand these to donors who choose stock, check, or DAF; a blank field means Claire says a team member will follow up rather than guessing. Never invented.
About Inheris
The facts a funder asks about us. Athena compares every eligibility requirement she reads on a funder's website against exactly these, and against nothing else. What is blank here she reports as unknown rather than guessing.

Custom fields on a contact
Design the fields you want to track. They appear on every contact profile. Add one, choose its type, reorder, rename, or retire it. Retiring hides a field but keeps the data you have entered.
Tab order
Arrange the console's tabs the way you work. Saved to your account, so the order follows you to any browser. Claire, Athena, and Stuart stay pinned at the end.
Pipelines
Create a pipeline for any workflow. Opportunities move through stages and link to people, grants, foundations, gifts, and awards. One person can be on many pipelines at once.
Opportunities
Every ask from identification to won. Drag a card between stages, or open one for the full record; the drawer opens from any tab that mentions an opportunity.
Reporting & data export
Build the report you need for the moment you are in. Pick an audience to start, choose the entity and the fields that matter, arrange and group them, then export a branded PDF to carry into a meeting or a CSV / XLSX for the numbers. Save a report to reuse it, and every saved report is available to your agents so Claire, Athena, and Stuart work from the same view you do.
Opportunities
Outcomes, the funnel, and the aging shelfOutcomes at a glance
Win rate divides won by decided (won, lost, declined), never by open or abandoned, so an untriaged board cannot fake a bad rate. Reasons are verbatim from each card's status reason. The date range filters on the decision date.
Where cards stand
Open cards going quiet
Sorted by last touch: the updated date until stage history accrues, then true time in stage. Click a row to open the card.

All contacts
Every contact in one place. Search and filter, choose the columns you want, save a view for later, or export to CSV.
Organizations
Institutions you engage and steward: the anchor for who works or advocates where, and for opportunities that belong to an entity rather than a person (the entity is the donor of record; its gifts are recorded on its contact-person record).
Donor View
A donor's world, side by side: their live portal on the left, exactly as they see it, and how they actually use it on the right. Read-only always. Nothing you do here can change a donor's data, speak to Claire as them, or count as their engagement.
